The question has been asked why we would run a DivorceCare course at church. Does this not imply that we tacitly condone divorce? The truth is that we live in a fallen world. In reality, divorce happens, and leaves in its wake broken people who desperately need someone to come alongside them and walk the path of healing with them.

DivorceCare is a support group ministry consisting of 13 weekly sessions. Various topics are covered including dealing with hurt, anger, depression and loneliness, as well as financial survival, Kidcare and forgiveness. It is written in such a way that non-Christians will also feel comfortable taking part but at the same time it introduces them to the Bible and what God has to say into the situation, culminating in a session on moving forward and growing closer to God.

By God’s grace we have seen healing take place in previous courses. Everything is treated confidentially but the encouragement and growth between the participants is more evident every week. For more information about the next course please CONTACT us.

Are your children angry, hurt, and confused about your separation or divorce? A DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) group is a safe, fun place where your children can learn skills that will help them heal. DC4K groups blend, games, music, stories, videos and discussion to help kids process the divorce and move forward. Groups meet weekly and are designed for children ages 5-12. For more information about the next course please CONTACT us.
