Women in God’s Word: Material for Feasting, Fellowship & Flourishing – 4

10-Minute Version

This is the Christian church: God chose people from all nations to be indwelt by his Spirit and joined together to his Son.

Both good and evil spiritual powers marvel at this church. Angels, who see the face of God continually, have their curiosity piqued by the existence of his multi-ethnic church:

12 … Even angels long to look into these things. (1 Peter 1:12)

Evil powers are confounded by the church:

10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 3:10)

Think about people in your church who are from different ethnic backgrounds to you. Quieten your heart in wonder that Christ has joined you together.
