SOME COMMON QUESTIONS ANSWERED

We have a fairly traditional type of service. We sit in auditorium-style seating. There are a few people up on the stage who lead the service or pray or read the bible. We sing – there is a music team on stage who lead the singing. About halfway through one of our pastors preaches a sermon for about half an hour. It’s helpful to have a bible, but not essential (you can download a Bible app on your phone here if you’d like). The service is about 60-75 minutes long.

We have parking available in our parking lot, as well as accross the road at the Hindu Temple for particularly busy services. It is best however to arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of the service so that you can find a seat easily.

We have a ‘come as you are’ approach to our Sunday gatherings with no particular dress code. Most people like to dress casually, others prefer to dress smart-causal.

Our 8am and 9:45am services include a dedicated children's church programme that runs concurrent to the church service. We start in the service altogether until children up to Grade 7 go to separate age groups for the teaching. You can find out more about that here. There is a Baby Room in our kids centre with dedicated creche volunteers. Parents with young babies are welcome to sit with their children in the creche room.

As you walk through our foyer and into the auditorium you will be invited to find a seat. We sit for most of the time but will stand to sing songs. The leader on the stage will indicate what you need to do at what point (sit or stand). You won’t be expected to do anything you’re not comfortable with.

Please get in touch with us and we’ll arrange for someone friendly to greet you when you visit.
